HELLO MOM!

I'm Liezl, your Resilience & Emotional Support Coach.

Lovely to Meet You...

In 2020, as I turned 37, I found myself reflecting deeply on my past. My mom was diagnosed with breast cancer at 36, and as I watched my own daughters, aged 14 and 10 at the time, I was transported back to my teenage years. The emotions and challenges from that season resurfaced, not only in memory but within my body. It was as if I could once again feel the chaos, fear, and isolation I experienced as a teen.

That awakening led me on a journey of introspection and healing. I hadn’t realised how delaying the process of working through emotions could echo so powerfully into adulthood, as it did for me.

After six years of in and out of remission, just before my 18th birthday, my mom passed away. Her strength and love left a lasting imprint on my heart and in my life.

The heartbeat of See Me Rise. See Me Thrive was born from mom's journey and my own experience as a once-lost, emotionally overwhelmed teen.

My mom’s battle with breast cancer brought immense uncertainty and emotional upheaval into our lives. Despite her courage, without the right tools and support, it was an uphill battle for both of us. As a teen, I often felt stuck and broken, silently navigating my inner chaos while pretending to be “fine."

Those experiences shaped my mission to empower you and your teen daughter to face challenges with faith, connection, and resilience. I’ve walked the path of emotional confusion and loss, and I know how vital it is to have strong support and open communication during times of illness and change.

Today, it’s my calling to help transform silent struggles into journeys of growth and connection. Together, we’ll ignite strength, nurture resilience, and rediscover hope, even in the hardest moments.

What Moms and their Daughters have to say...

My Private Coaching Clients (6-Month Coaching Program)

Thank you doesn't adequately express my gratitude for this experience. I feel more confident.

TEEN GIRL, D

She is exceptional at what she does and makes you feel so comfortable.

MOM OF TEEN DAUGHTER, T

I have seen a huge improvement in her self-confidence and attitude towards life and friends. Teen coaching helped her to deal with her emotions and feelings and how to handle certain situations. It built up her self-esteem and self-confidence tremendously. She is my happy child again. I would recommend Liezl because she follows up with my teen (and me) even if we don’t have an appointment. She truly cares for her clients and gives her all to improve your situation. She just makes you feel loved, important and cared for.

My teen loves her and tells her everything.

From My Heart to Yours

If your family is walking through the storm of advanced cancer, please know that you don’t have to face it alone. The journey can feel heavy, but with the right support, it can also become a season of deep connection, healing, and growth.

Through my coaching and other resources, I help moms and teen daughters find calm in the chaos, strengthen their bond, and rediscover hope together. It’s about creating space for honest conversations, emotional healing, and faith-led resilience that carries you both forward.

When you’re ready, I’d love to walk beside you and show you how we can begin this journey together.
